It seems that the early demise of web standards furtherance has been ignored.
There’s this new standards showcase site.
From their page,
“The Standards Reboot is open to the design community at large to showcase strides in web design using standards. Standards Reboot is all about the use of standards in web design.”
They are accepting participants. However, if you should happen to miss participation in their November First 2006 Reboot, they will have one in May 2007.
And, not because Rémi Prévost wrote, “Cela aurait du s’appeller le ‘Web Standards Reboot’ …” on June 28, 2006.
And, not because they’ve cited several articles of mine.
And, not because it’s HTML 4.01/Strict.
No.
It’s because they are offering active web standards participation instead of educational articles.
