Or, What’s Unremembered
I know it’s Intertwingly; I know it’s Kidney Bingos. That doesn’t mean they will be remembered by me.
Simply stated, Cognitive poetics = declarative memory + parapraxis.
[Interesting, isn’t it.]
I read Intertwingly. I peruse Planet Intertwingly. So, one could presume that I would know how to type it. Uh, no. I typed but since corrected “Interwingly” in a previous article. [Note: “Twingly” is too tinny. And, whereas, “Wingly” may be considered tinny, it is far more evocative for me as a portmanteau word, “winging” + “majestically” = “Wingly” as in “The Wingly Magpie” (which in itself has the resemblance of an Edward Gorey title; and, therefore, more evocative.)
Kidney Bongos—Conversely—I’ve deduced arrives from childhood: I had bongos. [Note: And, “bongos”—as Everyone knows—are woody.]
So, if I ever again should erroneously type “Interwingly”, that’s my reason. And, Yes; I was listening to Kidney Bingos but humming “Bongos” whilst writing this.
