What are the Good Restaurants in Austin?
I'll be in Austin, Texas for two weeks for client work and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good restaurant or cafe or dive.
Dives are good.
Especially, for biscuits and gravy. [Note: Southern California doesn't seem to have good biscuits and gravy.]
Or, steak and eggs.

Here are a few that I have found living here in Austin,TX for a little over a month now:
Rudy's - Gas Station/ BBQ - The Best Beef Brisket so far.
Filp Happy Crepes - Best Crepes Anywhere in the U.S. (only open wed-sat [yes, that's how good they are])
Pho Van - Best Vietnamese that I have found. (183 at Payton Ginn exit)
Eddie V's Downtown - If you want fancy
Din Ho Restaurant - Best Chinese BBQ so far (Next to Pho Van)
T&S Seafood Restaurant - Pretty good Dim-Sum.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Places not to eat at:
Sullivan's downtown - Went for valentine's day. NO GOOD. Food was salty and cold, service was bad.
Kim Son - They just opened this in Chinatown Plaza. Food wasn't good.
That's all i have!

Ray Ray,
Thank you. I suppose that when next in Austin I shall be obliged to dine at all of those fine establishments.
